Bolero

A sensual, slow, Latin-inspired dance, Bolero is not for the faint of heart.

This dance is great for dancers already familiar with other ballroom dances, as it combines the rise and fall of dances like waltz with the Cuban motion of dances like rumba. Bolero is an impressive dance that can be danced at ballroom dance events or other formal events, though it is not as common as other dances.

In ballroom competitions, bolero is categorized in the American Rhythm category. There is not an International bolero because International rumba and bolero are similar.
