Ballroom Dances
Ballroom dancing is often a catch-all term for formal partnered dancing. The dances listed here are the styles commonly found in ballroom competitions or at ballroom dancing events. Some of these dances have been developed over several hundred years like the various styles of waltz. Others such as quickstep and foxtrot have only been around since the last century. What they all have in common, however, is that they are all fun to dance.
These dances are great for formal events, weddings and even ballroom dance events across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. For more information, click on any of the buttons below. A good place to start for people new to ballroom dancing would be Foxtrot.
